This Saleen S7 Twin Turbo is one of the rarest cars of its type ever produced in the United States. The S7TT is an American hand-built, high-performance sports car designed and built by Saleen Automotive debuting in August 2000 at the Monterey Historic Races. The initial cars were naturally aspirated aluminum Ford FE-427 engine producing 550 hp. The S7 gained notoriety with its appearance in the film Bruce Almighty. In 2005, the S7 was fitted with twin turbochargers producing 750 hp with a top speed of 248 mph. There were 21 cars produced of which only a reported 14 still exist. This particular S7 was the very first S7TT shipped to Europe to DR Automotive in Rome, Italy, not having a window sticker as Saleen had not settled on pricing of its European deliveries when it was sent overseas. The car made the rounds of numerous auto shows including the Top Marks Show in Monaco where its presenters included Prince Albert of Monaco and James Bond actor Roger Moore. This S7 then made the rounds to the Le Mans race series around the continent while in the intervening time, Saleen’s company fell on hard financial times and for a period of time, Saleen lost control of his company and thus this car which remained with DR Automotive. In 2013 Saleen regained control of his company and had the car shipped back to California with less than 100 miles on the odometer and sold the car to Always Evolving, a partnership between Roger Rodas and actor Paul Walker of Fast and Furious fame. Six weeks before their tragic death in 2015, they sold the car to Jack Talley, an executive with Enterprise Car Rental in Oklahoma City with a little over 200 miles on the odometer. The car was acquired in 2019 from Talley in 2019 with 232 miles on the odometer.
